Logpile Lodge Dining Room Description:
European style dinners are offered several times a week. Goal is to prepare meals with quality ingredients and fresh produce (organic where possible), everything made from scratch and with a dash of love. You'll find some very soothing wines on the wine list, quite a few from BC. In winter time you can listen to the fire crackling in the fireplace, the snowflakes dancing through a sleepy landscape, in summer you will watch some fabulous sunsets behind Hudson Bay Mountain (at 10 o'clock at night) and you can still go for a stroll at 11 pm when dusk is just starting to set in!
Some local artists have exhibited their work in the lodge - there are magnificent stained glass windows by Carmel Marchant, beautiful photographs by Wendy Perry and Rolf Kopfle, a world class wildlife photographer who immigrated from Switzerland several years ago.
