Today, we went with friends to Green Basil for dinner. When I looked at the menu I was a bit shocked to see lots of chilli signs in front of the dishes. But after ordering the appetizer combo and one green curry and one yellow curry and one BBQ duck with red curry, I was ok. They were a little on the hot side, but I really like the flavour of curries. All in all, pretty good.

I try to stop in at Green Basil at least a couple of times a month because I just can't get enough of their food. It's always exceptionally fresh and flavourful. Things to definitely try are chicken satay sticks or the steamed mullet with Thai spices. Every dish that I've had so far has been a winner. Very comfortable atmosphere to either go as a group or with a date. Service is usually pretty good too - a realy winner in Burnaby.
