The hello was fake! The rice is bland and the mashed potatoes tastes like wallpaper paste.Owners are rude. You get called a liar.Menu never changes, they just change the name of the dish.We heard the owners yelling at the staff.Staff coming in and leaving because they haven't received their last cheque. How the hell this place doesn't get shut down I'll never know.Went to the kitchen to complain about service and food and the kitchen is filthy and you can smell sewage. The staff should be paid more money for having to put up with such ***** working conditions. The owner makes comments at her staff while customers are in the restaurant and upsets her staff.Everytime we have gone into the restaurant, there seems to be new staff. Not surprised.Staff turnover is unbelievable. This place should shut down.Run very badly by owners.Servers have said how unhappy they were.Particularly our server. She was upset.Left to tell us the boss couldn't come out and talk to us about our ***** meal and the hair in the food. What kind of place is this when the owner can't spend two minutes to discuss it with us.Expensive and very disgusting. The food isn't good at all.Atmosphere is a joke.No romance at all.would get better service at a gas station.

Been here a couple days ago using the entertainment book. We had a couple of entrees and some wine. The server was knowledgable and answered all our questions with ease. We ordered the roast lamb and vegetarian stuffed tomato-things (yemitsa?) I like that they offer different side options aside from the standard rice and potatoes (btw I`ve been to Greece and you`d be hard pressed to find rice pilaf in any restaurant). Food came and was surely impressive, perfectly seasoned and just mouth watering. The ambiance is warm and modern but still with a ``Greek`` sort of feel. This place is definitely worth going back to!

Am surprised to find bad reviews about this place but I guess the people most willing to share their experience are the ones who have had unpleasant ones. I got to say that whenever a craving for Greek food strikes this place is the only option. Quality over quantity definetely stands out. I have no problem waiting an extra 1/2 hour for my meal when knowing that it's being made from scratch and with fresh ingredients (overheard the owner chatting with another patron and learned that almost all the ingredients for their greek salad comes from the owners garden) very impressive.
Occasional poor service like in all restaurants is a negative that comes with the positives. I wouldn't judge the entie restaurant on servers having an off day.
Kefi most definetely stands out from the pack

Mediocre is a complement. They simply are not good. The service is lacking and the owners couldn't care less. Portions are terrible and little time and care is taken on any meal. They messed up my order and everyone one of my friends. Then refused to fix it without an argument. When we told the owner about the hair (coincidence?) we found in our redone plates he called us a liar. The icing on the cake was when three former employees came in complaining about not getting their last paycheck. We wished them luck on their way out the door.

Kefi Greek Kouzina has been around for years serving up mediocre Greek food to angry patrons and I don't know how they don't notice. You would think they would have heard something about their own place by now. Anyway, I thought I would give them another try 2 nights ago because it's been a couple of years since I went and what did I find? That it's the same boring tasting food they served me 2 years prior. The only thing they really have going for them is their whole wheat pita, which could be why the place usually has people in it - they all seem to be eating the pita! Maybe they order something on the side just so they can get the pita? Most dishes come with rice and rice is usually a big part of any Greek plate so you would think that after so many years and serving up so much rice they would be pretty good by now, but the rice is always runny and wet! Who doesn't know how to make rice? I wonder how long it took them to learn how to make ice cubes. Suffice to say, I won't be returning to Kefi Greek Kousina, it's just another sad restaurant masquerading itself as Greek fare.
