Big Smoke Mountain BBQ Description:
A funky, cozy, 50 seat restaurant, on Hwy 99, in Mount Currie, a few minutes from Whistler.
Looking like the old barn it once was, it is bright red outside and even brighter red, yellow and blue inside. Local art adorns the walls. A big patio, offers views of Mount Currie.
The food is smokepit BBQ, old southern comfort food and Mexican with vegetarian options. Also offering pulled pork and side ribs beef brisket, BBQ free range chicken and hot smoked salmon. White corn tortillas support tacos, tostadas, enchiladas and quesidillas. Prices range from $8 to $20 for main courses.
A full bar with draft beer, bottled beer, wine and spirits is offered. Tables are set with sheets of paper and crayons so doodling and impromtu art is encouraged.
Music is roots blues, jazz, world, Latin and reggae.
