I went to the rosewood last summer, and was hoping to find a website online so I could find out when they open again for the season, instead i dug out their business card as they do not have a website, but WOW this was the best place in the kootenays to eat. My husband and I went thru for our honeymoon and everything from the prime rib, service, music, table setting, ambiance was absolutely take my breath away. I reccomend you all go there NOW and eat until they have to roll you out the door. YUM YUM YUM!

In response the the guy who thought he was ripped off.. I was his waitress, and I removed the coke from his bill as he asked, even though it is not policy. I didn't want him to cause a larger scene than he already had. After I removed the second beverage from his bill, he misread his own bill and read the wrong total. He was in fact billed the correct discounted amount. It was my mistake with the crabs, I said Kign, when they were in fact snow crabs. I apologized to the gentleman. If he had told me that the salmon was dry when I asked him how his meal was going, he would have been given a new one, however he lied and said everything was fine. How am I supposed to ensure his happiness if he does not express himself? It's like in preschool when the teacher has to tell a crying child: "use your words." The rosewood is a superb place to work and eat. Don't let this person prevent you from dining out there.

Took my wife here for our anniversary dinner. Ordered the special, which was, Salmon, King crab legs and Shrimp. The salmon was small and dry, the KING Crab legs, were the same size as my finger, the shrimp was fine. $4.50 for a coke, and then another $4.50 for a second one, (no free refills). The girl who waited on us you can tell did no tlike her job, very rude, very short, very abrupt. When I asked for a refill and was charged for it, I asked her to remove the drink from my tab she said she would, my bill somehow went from $83.xx minus the $4.50 drink and now my new bill was $84.xx. She reworked the entire bill and actually charged me more.
