The Windmill Restaurant bills itself as "gourmet fast food". The Windmill in Brick is located at the busy intersection of Route 70, Route 88 and Princeton Ave in a strip mall. (Most Restaurants in Brick are located in strip malls). It is one of eight Windmill Restaurant in the Jersey Shore. If you sign up for their e-mail newsletter, you will get a coupon for a free hot dog and get periodical mailings of coupons and special offers. The original Windmill Restaurant is located in Long Branch in a Windmill across from the boardwalk.
The food at Windmill Restaurant is grilled over an open flame. The super-sized hotdogs an natural casing dog made according to secret recipe that "crunches" when you bite into one. In addition to hotdogs and hamburges the restaurant serves french fries, onion rings and deep fried mushrooms. Other fried dishes include fish and chicken fingers. They serve an assortment of grilled favorites along with the burgers including grilled chicken breast, a grilled tuna steak and a grilled rib eye sandwich steak.
The restaurant has a fixing bar that has a variety of unusual fixings side by side with the standards.
In addition to the fountain sodas you may want to wash your burger down with a thick shake made from real ice cream.
