Bennie's Cafe Description:
This is a cozy little restaurant on the way to the beach. There is counter service or a warmly decorated dining room.
The restaurant has daily specials for breakfast and lunch.
For breakfast there are eggs with any choice of breakfast meat and a side of home fries. A custom stuffed omelet allows you to fill your omelet with whatever you prefer. There are also pancakes or french toast, blueberries or not. Of course there is the traditional Jersey style pork roll egg in cheese.
Everything is homemade. A highlight for breakfast is the homemade "top secret recipe" corn beef hash cooked crispy.
Often the special are unusual. One day the special board offered a rib eye steak sandwich for lunch or if you like, fried pickles.
Of course for lunch there is the usual burgers, sandwiches, homemade soups and salads. A highlight at lunch is the Jersey Shore tradition, fried soft shell crab sandwich or for a big appetite 1/2 lb. hand formed "Bennie Burger".
