It doesn't look so good on paper: The schtick at Dick's Last Resort is verbal abuse, which the waitstaff heaps upon its customers, particularly the barely legal birthday celebrants, the bachelors and bachelorettes who come to get wild and loose. In reality, however, the revelers relish the roast-like treatment, dished up along with buckets full of ribs and chicken, piles of bar snacks and enough beer to fill a municipal pool. Or, rather, most love the nightly frat-house fracas; others are sure to be offended by both the attitude and the mediocre food. And did we mention the obscene hat wear? Only in America.
