Beer Works Description:
Parked a basketball's throw from the TD Banknorth Garden, this boisterous brewpub is a party even when there's no home game. The glassed-in, on-site brewery flashes its gigantic copper tanks; the industrial-chic dining area flaunts its TVs and memorabilia; and amid it all office drones, tourists and sports fans of all stripes choose from numerous house brews on tap, including Bunker Hill Bluebeery Ale and Pumpkinhead Ale. The encyclopedic menu mixes the banal (burgers, wings) with the modern (mako shark skewers) with equally mixed, but generally adequate, results; big-bowl salads, for instance, are surprisingly creative and flavorful.
