Although the local JP Licks ice cream mini-chain originated in Jamaica Plain (thus the "JP"), they have had several locations here. The latest and largest offers a lot of exposed brick, and both indoor and outdoor seats. In addition to cones, smoothies, and other fountain offerings, the shop sells ice cream cakes, as well as pints and quarts for takeout.
