Indiana University Memorial Stadium Description:

Parking:

• Parking in the Grass Lots south of 17th Street is restricted to cars, vans, motorcycles, pickup trucks, and sport utility vehicles only. Large trucks, RVs, buses, and other oversized vehicles will not be admitted to the Grass Lots and will be assigned to alternate lots.
• The instructions of parking lot attendants are to be followed. Only one space per car is permitted.
• Erecting canopies directly in front of or behind vehicles will be permitted, as long as traffic is not impeded or additional parking spaces are not taken. Tents and large tarps are not permitted.
• Trailer grills or other vehicle attachments are not permitted unless they are approved by an Indiana University caterer.
• Couches, large indoor or outdoor furniture, and large sound systems are not permitted.
• Kegs are not permitted unless approved by an official Indiana University caterer. Underage consumption of alcoholic beverages is not permitted under Indiana state law.
• For safety reasons, consumption of all beverages should be from plastic cups/plastic bottles. Glass bottles are prohibited.
• These parking lots are reserved for those attending football games, and patrons who enter these lots are expected to have game tickets. Any tailgate activities are expected to conclude within 10 minutes after kickoff. Police and security personnel will monitor these policies.

General Rules:

• ALCOHOL – Alcoholic beverages are prohibited in Memorial Stadium.
• CAMERAS – Video cameras are not allowed, still cameras with no flash are permitted, and pictures are to be taken from your assigned seat.
• CONTAINERS – No containers or coolers, including water bottles, are permitted in Memorial Stadium.
• PETS/ANIMALS– Only service dogs, either certified or in training, will be admitted.
• SMOKING– Smoking is prohibited in all areas of Memorial Stadium including the restrooms and concourse areas.
• UMBRELLAS– Umbrellas may not be carried into or used in Memorial Stadium. Check-in facilities are not available.
• FIRST AID – First Aid Stations are located behind Entry 9 in the West Stands and behind Entry 26 in the East Stands. Contact the nearest usher or uniformed police officer if medical assistance is needed in the stands.
• LOST AND FOUND – Any found items may be turned in to Event Staff. Patrons may claim lost items by calling the Andy Frain office at 812-856-0651.
• LOST PATRONS – Lost patrons and persons looking for lost patrons should contact a uniformed police officer or call 812-855-4111.

Miscellaneous:

• Parking lot policies will be strictly enforced by parking lot attendants, Indiana University Police Department personnel, and other law enforcement agencies.
• PROHIBITED ITEMS – For your safety and the enjoyment of others, the following items are not permitted in Memorial Stadium: banners, signs, cans and bottles, noisemakers, boomboxes or televisions, video cameras, and weapons. Check-in facilities are not available.
• PROJECTILES – For the safety of all patrons, the throwing of any objects is prohibited in Memorial Stadium. Patrons throwing objects in the stadium will be ejected.
• PUBLIC ADDRESS SYSTEM – To request reading of personal messages (birthday, anniversary) over the public address system, please contact IU Sports Marketing at 812-855-9517.
• WEAPONS – No weapons of any kind are permitted on University property.
• RESTROOMS – Restrooms are located throughout the stadium in the concourse areas. Diaper changing facilities are located in the restrooms between Entrances 25 & 26 and 27 & 28 on the East Concourse, and Entrances 5 & 6 and 7 & 8 on the West Concourse
• GATE INFORMATION – For direct stadium access to your
seat(s), please enter through the gate indicated on your ticket. All gates open 2 hours prior to kickoff.
• PASS-OUTS – Following the first quarter, patrons may leave and re-enter Memorial Stadium. Have your ticket scanned at designated games as marked on each side of the stadium to be valid for re-entry.


Driving direction to Indiana University Memorial Stadium:
FROM THE NORTH TO BLOOMINGTON VIA STATE HIGHWAY 37:
Gates 10 & 11: Exit to State Highway 45/46, use center lane.
Gates 12 & 14: Exit to State Highway 45/46, use left lane and proceed to Fee Lane, turn right.
Please do not use North College exit.
FROM THE NORTHWEST TO BLOOMINGTON VIA STATE HIGHWAY 46:
Gates 2, 4 and Grass Lot: Exit left on to Arlington Road (East of Ellettsville), continue on 17th Street.
Gates 10 & 11: Exit to State Highway 45/46, use center lane.
Gates 12 & 14: Exit to State Highway 45/46, use left lane and proceed to Fee Lane, turn right.
FROM THE SOUTH TO BLOOMINGTON VIA STATE HIGHWAY 37 OR STATE HIGHWAY 45:
Grass Lot: Exit to 2nd Street, proceed to Walnut Street, turn left and continue to 13th Street, turn right.
Gate 4: Exit to 2nd Street, proceed to Walnut Street, turn left and continue to 17th Street, turn right.
FROM THE EAST TO BLOOMINGTON VIA STATE HIGHWAY 46:
Gate 2: West on 3rd Street, turn right to State Highway 45/46, proceed to 10th Street, turn left, continue to Fee Lane, turn right, proceed to 17th Street, turn left.
Grass Lot: West on 3rd Street, turn right on to State Highway 45/46, proceed to 10th Street, turn left, continue to Fee Lane, turn right, proceed to 13th Street, turn left.
Gates 12 & 14: West on 3rd Street, turn right on to State Highway 45/46, proceed to Fee Lane, turn left.
