Sushi Hana Description:
This little gem of a sushi bar has just 46 seats in its setting of rice paper shoji screens, mellow wood and soft gray walls brightened with an array of colorful paper parasols hanging from the ceiling. Two sushi chefs are behind the array of mackerel, abalone, fluke, tuna and squid in the glass case. They expertly slice fish for sashimi and rolls with names like Caterpillar, Dragon, Spider, Dancing and Dynamite. Dynamite (tuna, salmon and yellowtail in a spicy sauce) and Dragon (shrimp, tempura, avocado and eel) are especially appealing as is Dancing (smelt roe, eel, cucumber, shrimp, smoked salmon, crab meat and avocado). The rolls are ideal for sharing. Hot pot dishes may be ordered from the kitchen, as can teriyaki chicken and beef, noodle dishes and tempura.
