La Note Description:
Inside La Note's tiny storefront, warm, cheerful colors greet diners, most notably from the handmade Provençal pottery, which is also for sale. Salads, served in deep glass bowls, feature an array of colors and flavors. We've enjoyed the bouillabaisse and the pasta special: ravioli filled with pears, arugula and smoked goat cheese. We sometimes stop at La Note just for a dessert of lavender crème brûlée. Long lines outside attest to the popularity of the weekend brunch, one of Berkeley's favorites. When the weather is pleasant, opt for the lovely patio seating.
