Boom Noodle Description:
Named for the Japanese slang, "my boom," which translates to "my current obsession," this huge, industrial-style noodle house offers more than a dozen ramen, soba and udon noodle preparations. Beef yakisoba and mushroom soba are favorites. You can easily share the impressive seafood curry udon, which features ling cod, mussels and shrimp in a spicy broth. The menu also includes several non-noodle items such as ahi tacos made with crispy wontons and a savory pancake filled with tender pork and topped with colorful shredded vegetables. The enormous two-story Tokyo-style dining room is noisy but brimming with good energy and ultra fast service. Boom Noodle's bar offers innovative Asian-inspired cocktails and a daily happy hour menu.
