Pazo Description:
Marrying the romance of the Mediterranean with the sophistication of the city, restaurateurs Tony Foreman and Cindy Wolf's PAZO offers the citys most intriguing & indulgent casual dining. Expect cuisine with the hedonistic soul of the rustic Spanish coast & Italian isles at an unprecedented dining & dancing venue in the heart of the city.
Explore the classic tables of Sicily, Catalonia, Sardinia, & Campania hedonistic cuisine by exploring our tapas offerings to our grand plates and main menu items. Neopolitan pizza, regional cheeses, house-made breads, grilled seafood, spit-roasted game and aged ribeyes complete the menu.
A 100-label wine list highlights exotic & friendly Mediterranean selections starting at $17/bottle. The expansive bar hosts an impressive lineup of spirits to include our grappa collection.
The rustic two-floor venue is complete with soaring ceilings, open kitchen, plush booths, mezzanine and stylish bar and lounge area.
The music gently crescendos throughout the evening as PAZO gracefully transforms into the perfect late-night scene.
Both tapas and "grand plates" dominate the menu at this hot-spot, masterminded by Tony Foreman and Cindy Wolf of Charleston fame. As with the duo's other restaurants, the space is dramatic as all get-out; architect Patrick Sutton has transformed a former boiler factory into a multi-level tapas bar (think Tuscany meets SoHo). The dishes, drawn from peasant traditions of Spain, the Italian islands and the south of France, tend toward the garlicky and assertive, and come in either small-plate or entrée sizes. Grilled items are a standout, the tender-crusted pizzas are first-rate, and there are plenty of choices for vegetarians. Dress is casual, but many patrons are chicly turned out, and there is a dress code.
