1,600 undercover parking spaces are available underneath the BCEC. There is a small cost with parking.

The BCEC is made up of 3 main floors:
Main foyer level: The dominant feature of the spacious main foyer is a Spectacular terrazzo floor mural by leading Australian artist, John Olsen. Escalators, elevators, and stairs service the Mezzanine and plaza levels of the centre from the main foyer. The great hall is at the centre of the venue.

Beside South Bank parklands (site of expo 1988).
1 minute walk from the South Brisbane Railway Station. 3 minute walk from the Cultural Centre Busway Station.
