Moonshine Patio Bar & Grill Description:
As the name might suggest, Moonshine is all about down-home fare and good drinks. However, much to the owner's credit, the restaurant still places a premium on food quality, service and ambience, and also offers good brunches. The beautiful grounds feature an historical carriage-house-turned-bar and a snug patio, perfect for cool days and nights. The indoor dining room is also cozy, with limestone walls, dim lights and polished wood floors. For good appetizer eats, we recommend the beer-battered asparagus or corn dog shrimp, both signature items. Filling entrées include cornbread-stuffed rainbow trout, flat-iron steak, and buffalo meatloaf. For something lighter, try the spinach salad with goat cheese, dried cranberries, orange slices and spiced almonds. If you're merely parched, a Moonlit Cosmo Martini or hard lemonade will fix you right up.
