Public Transportation:

Traveling to Blues’ home matches at Eden Park and North Harbour Stadium has just become a whole lot easier for rugby fans.

A joint initiative between the Blues, Eden Park and Auckland Regional Transport Authority (ARTA), means members or ticketholders will be able to travel on trains and buses to all Blues’ home games for free – simply by producing their relevant membership card or valid match-ticket.

Specific trains and buses will be scheduled on game day for the transport of supporters to the match and details of these will be posted on www.maxx.co.nz and www.theblues.co.nz in the days prcceeding.

Q. Can I smoke at the Stadium?
A. Smoking is not permitted in the ASB Bank Stand (covered and uncovered areas), lower West Stand, Southwest Stand, Upper South Stand or the Panasonic Stand. Smoking is permitted in the Upper West Stand, the Terraces and the lower South Stand.

Q. Where can I buy merchandise?
A. A retail merchandise shop operates at Eden Park during normal business hours on week days and on game days/nights.
It is located in the ASB Bank Stand, Walters Road, adjacent to the ticketing office.

Patron, Bag & Vehicle Searches
All patrons and their possessions may be subject to searches before entering the Stadium
Searches may also be carried out during an event and when leaving the Stadium
Patrons who refuse to participate in searches may be denied entry to the Stadium or removed from the venue (by force if considered necessary)
All vehicles entering and leaving the Stadium may be searched
Prohibited items will be confiscated

How will Patron Searches be carried out
Where patron searches are required, a general pat-down body search will be carried out by security officers
Where patron searches are required of (i) female patrons - they will be carried out by female security officers and (ii) males patrons - by male security officers

Can I bring a pram into the stadium?
No, but they can be left at the offices at Gate 19 or Gate 5 for the duration of the game. Please enquire with one of our ushers

Can I bring food into the stadium?
Patrons are permitted to bring food into the stadium (with the exception of Corporate areas) provided it is not commercially branded

You will be refused entry or removed from the stadium if security officers consider in their absolute discretion that:
You are intoxicated or under the influence of drugs
You have any prohibited item (see above) concealed on your person or in your posssessions
You throw any missile
You enter or attempt to enter the field of play
You breach any other patrons human rights
You behave in a disorderly or offensive manner (including indecent exposure)
