Lakewood Fairgrounds Description:

Parking:

For Big Apple Circus:
Parking available at fairgrounds-$5 per car

Public Transportation:

Take MARTA to Five Points Station,then take the southbound train to Lakewood/Fort McPherson Station and take bus.

General Rules:

No flash photography
No video cameras
No food/bottles/cans to be brought in
No smoking in tent

Miscellaneous:

For Big Apple Circus:
-Ringside,Boxes,Center Mezzanine are all reserved,Grandstand and Side are general admission (Weekday 11am matinees have only Ringside,Box,and Grandstand seating). All seats are padded bleachers with backs except Boxes,which are individual chairs

-Food (hot dogs,candy,popcorn,soft drinks,etc) and souvenirs sold
before/during/after performances

-Tent is climate-controlled and waterproof

-Show lasts 2 hrs,10 min with a 10-15 min. intermission

-Gates open 30-45 minutes before showtime


Driving direction to Lakewood Fairgrounds:
From the North:
Take I-75 to I-75/85 South to exit 243 (Lakewood Freeway East Exit,also known as Michael Langford Parkway). Follow freeway until it dead ends,then turn left onto Lakewood Avenue and follow signs (venue will be abt 1/4 mile ahead on the left).
From the South:
Take I-75 North to I-75/85 North to Exit 243 (Lakewood Freeway East Exit,also known as Michael Langford Parkway).
Follow freeway to dead end,then turn left onto Lakewood Avenue and follow signs (venue will be abt. 1/4 mile ahead on the left).
From the East/West:
Take I-20 East (from the west) or West (from the east) to I-75/85
South to Exit 243 (Lakewood Freeway East Exit,also known as Michael Langford Parkway). Follow the freeway until it dead ends,then turn left onto Lakewood Avenue and follow the signs
(venue will be abt. 1/4 mile ahead on the left).
