Aptly named, in our view, Shout does not whisper anything. It operates at high decibels in every respect. The glitzy interior, high energy atmosphere and an eclectic menu that includes restaurateur Tom Catherall's signature sushi and a wide variety of tapas make Shout speak volumes about evening entertainment. Companion restaurant to Phipps Plaza's Twist, Shout is part sushi bar (a whole page of options are lined up on the back of the menu) and part pizza parlor. Tapas range from shrimp and scallops on grits with a pasilla pepper cream sauce to a lobster quesadilla with ricotta cheese and more familiar crab cakes with jalapeño tartar sauce. Main selections hit more substantial marks, and may include a lamb shank, short ribs and several pasta dishes, plus increasingly hefty steaks. Flavors swing from Hispanic to Cajun, and sometimes we've seen Morocco represented in the seasonings. There's an ample pizza section, and sandwiches and panini. Patrons may also assemble a seafood experience from a sizeable list and select among the sides to flesh out the plate. Check out the all-you-can-eat specials, as these have some very good values. Overall, the wine list doesn't measure up for folks interested in a food-wine pairing opportunity.

I tried to do some research before deciding to dine here & I did find quite a few negative reviews, but I figured it'd gotten better. My friend made reservations. A few of our friends cancelled at the last minute but most of our party were there. We had a terrible, lack of a waiter. It took FOREVER to get our orders, from food to drinks. He NEVER came to check on us. The cook came to check on my steak & we had to stop other waiters to get our orders. When they brought us our tab, they FINALLY brought my sister's steak (the b-day girl) & my friend�s salad AFTER we waited for 30-45 minutes for it; by then they'd lost their appetite. On the bill, he combined everyones order, which no one NEVER told us they do, THEN they tried to charge us $20 per person who didn't show up. HA!! I thought people make reservations for tables so they won't have to wait for one when they get there. Oh, and the drinks are OVERPRICED & WEAK!!! $11.50 for a Jack & Coke, but then $9 for a Martini or Bombay splashed with Cranberry. Then, upstairs they have a club. It was OVER CROWDED! Shawty Lo was there so I don't know if that was the reason. They charge $5 to get in, even after paying $10 to park, but because we ate there we got in free. Then the security hassled me for ID after showing my $90 tab with like 3 alcoholic drinks on it.The bathroom was ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING!!! At the bar upstairs, some of the bartenders are SO unattentive. I actually was gonna tip but they never came back. All in all, it was the worst experience ever!!!! Pros: Good sushi & my steak was good, tho expensive without side Cons: EVERYTHING else!!
