Eclipse di Luna Description:
Chef Ben McPherson has taken over the kitchen in this lively spot that restored tapas to Atlanta's dining scene many years ago. He plans a revision of the small-plates style menu that has made the establishment so popular, along with its adventurous wine offerings and lively music. Lunch includes some soups and sandwiches plus the same tapas menu served at dinner, but the venue comes alive in the evening as a tapas and wine bar, offering little dishes for $5, glasses of wine for $6 and bottles for $20. Classic Spanish tapas include an assortment of olives and almonds; Spanish cheeses, appointed with Spanish almonds and a bit of membrillo (quince paste); calamares; and mussels steamed in sherry. Desserts are not tapas-size and include flan and tres leches. The serviceable wine list offers some good choices at great values.
