Moro Description:
Legend has it that a deserter from Napoleon's invading army founded the Moro on the banks of the river Tanero, and served the fish that he caught there. Fish from the Tanero are now a thing of the past, but plenty of recipes - Piedmontese-style marinated eel, for example - survive from that era. The restaurant serves traditional Piedmont cuisine along with some notable local innovations. The wooden beams in the ceiling give the restaurant a decidedly rustic character; during the summer meals are served outdoors under a shady canopy.
