Khajuraho Description:
Packed on weekends and busy at other times as well, this large Indian restaurant was clearly needed in the suburbs. There are a few surprises: one is the erotic art that covers the walls; another, the western desserts such as carrot cake, chocolate cake and ice cream; yet another, the handsome brass serving pieces. In between, there are crisp breads or stuffed ones, tandoor and vindaloos, in preparations subtle enough to make use of the tamarind and coriander on every table. Try the lamb tandoori or shrimp vindaloo, have milk balls and rice pudding if you like Indian sweets. There are many choices on the comprehensive menu---you can get an education in Indian cooking and the Kama Sutra at the same time.
