Punk's Backyard Grill Description:
You can leave the black leather and chains at home; Punk's is named for an owner's barbecue-loving Uncle Punk, and it's as clean and cheerful a place to eat as can be imagined. The mode is fast-casual---order at the counter, your food will be brought to your table---the location is in a mall, and nothing costs more than $10, but rest assured, this is real food. Juicy rosemary-marinated lamb skewers with cucumber-yogurt sauce, grilled artisanal sausage, Thai flank steak salad, and a harvest salad with apple wood-smoked bacon, candied pumpkin seeds, green apples and Gorgonzola are only a few of the tasty items offered; even the burgers are made from naturally-raised beef from Vande Rose Farms. And unlike most fast-casual places, you can wash your meals down with wine, interesting brews, cool homemade cocktails, and Boylan's fountain sodas.
