Diner on Main Description:
An old-fashioned diner has been transformed into an updated, retro-but-contemporary cousin, operated by the folks behind South Pasadena's Wild Thyme and Shakers. This modern edition has a long counter, comfy booths, images of '50s icons like Marilyn Monroe and James Dean, a few neon stars on a black ceiling, and something most authentic diners don't have: a full bar. It's a fine place for a decent burger, fish-and-chips, pot roast, macaroni and cheese, and excellent fountain drinks made with Fosselman's ice cream.
